First taper’s choice show?

I saw them for the first time at Peach fest in Scranton, PA, june 2023. I was excited to see dogs in a pile, goose, ween, my morning jacket, but i was looking through the lineup to possibly check out some other bands that seemed interesting and i found tapers choice. I listened to the choice tapes and tapers ball 2022 and was hooked. They quickly became the main band i was looking forward to seeing at the fest. It was an amazing set (including impossible sound!). I showed dave my tapers tie dye and he gave me a thumbs up it was awesome lol. Ive seen them a couple times since then but not for awhile. Was devastated to hear that dave was leaving the band but im loving the clips of the new guitarist. Cant wait to check out tapers 2.0! Hopefully they come back to the midwest!

Fave show: Big Brown: the barn, in rural MA

9/17/23. Discovered mountain movers and wet tuna (amazing bands that opened for tapers) and met some super cool peeps from deep thoughts record store. And got to hang with dave and zach a little bit. It was a magical night.

hey. Welcome to the groove. The Peachfest show was good. My first show was the Denver Twiddle show 8/31/22. But I listened to them before that. After their Sultan Room show in Brooklyn I got hooked.

My first show was last night. However, I had bought their bandcamp albums since i first heard about them. Of course being a jam band you gotta know there’s more to it than that, but I didn’t “study” before last night. I recognized most songs like Lick the Toad, Darkness on the edge of Midtown, Dino, was surprised there was no lyrics in Doner Wrap (I was looking forward to shouting “Fries for the table” like a mental patient) - does that mean it is still wrapped? (as in, not “unwrapped” as noted on a setlist) - and i am happy to learn I got such a rarity as Sometimes, Man in my first show! I can’t go tonight though they’re all going to phish and walking over with everyone lol. I bought a cassette tape of vol1 even though i’ve had it for years from bandcamp. Hopefully can see them again in my area.

Welcome Michael, Glad you got to finally see the boys.

A proper Doner has the ending section with the Fries for the Table. We it’s on the setlist as unwrapped that means they didn’t sing the ending section. Most Doners are unwrapped
